| Meat and Bladder Cancer Published:23/4/10 A study by American researchers has investigated if meat consumption increases the risk of developing bladder cancer and how genetic difference may be involved. Their results suggest that people who eat a lot of meat, particularly well done red meat, seem to have a higher risk of bladder cancer. | Vitamin D and Colorectal Cancer Published:28/1/10 Previous studies have indicated an association between vitamin D and colorectal cancer, but the evidence has been inconclusive. A recent collaborative study has found that participants with the highest levels of blood vitamin D concentration had a nearly 40% decrease in colorectal cancer risk compared to those with the lowest levels of vitamin D.
