Heart of England Food Safety Forum (HoEFSF)

The Forum was established in September 2001 and operates within the geographical boundaries of Nuneaton and Bedworth, North Warwickshire and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Councils.

The Forum meets periodically to provide a means of informal communication between food authorities, food businesses, food workers and students, and suppliers of food sector products and services. The latter category may include training providers, suppliers of temperature monitoring equipment / food service equipment / cleaning and disinfectant products, and food hygiene consultancies.

Membership of the Forum is open to any person or representative of any organisation with an interest in food safety, healthy eating and/or food labelling operating within the Forum's area.

General meetings usually take place at the catering restaurant at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, Hinckley Road, Nuneaton but some seminars have been arranged for specific groups at different venues. Since launch, meetings have covered a wide range of food-related topics and have generally been well attended, with the most popular meeting attracting more than 100 people.

Meeting dates are usually set in March/April for the year ahead. Details and arrangements for these meetings are usually sent out a few weeks in advance by the three local authorities but details will also now be posted on this website. Persons interested in attending are advised to check this website to confirm arrangements prior to the meeting.

Persons interested in demonstrating goods or services or making a presentation to the Forum are invited to contact one of the constituent local authorities.
